Web Tap Payment Authentication and Encryption With Zero Customer Effort
نویسنده
چکیده
We propose a public-key authentication and encryption application that secures the messages between Tap-Card-Pay application, Tap-Card-Pay Systems Corporation, customers, and merchants allowing the customer to complete transactions without requiring the customer to input sensitive information. With authentication and encryption, the application transfers the credit card information from the smartphone’s near field communication device onto the merchant webpage. Security weaknesses are also presented to show how to attack this design.

In this paper, customer authentication for their transactions in electronic banking has been discussed, and a more appropriate way of using biometric fingerprint data, as well as encrypting those data in a different way, has been suggest...
متن کاملMobile Paymentmethodbased on Public-key Cryptography
Mobile payment is defined as mobile money, which is considered as an attractive alternative for cash, cheque, or credit. In this paper we propose a new secure mobile paymentmethod. This method is summarized in three processes: firstly, the authentication process, which involves the authentication phases for the applied customers. Secondly, the member recognition process which tests and ensures ...
متن کاملTime-assisted authentication protocol
Authentication is the first step toward establishing a service provider and customer (C-P) association. In a mobile network environment, a lightweight and secure authentication protocol is one of the most significant factors to enhance the degree of service persistence. This work presents a secure and lightweight keying and authentication protocol suite termed TAP (TimeAssisted Authentication P...
متن کاملCustomer Perceptions of a Thin-Client Micro-Payment System: Issues and Experiences
Two fundamental payment methods exist for online information purchase: macropayment and micro-payment. Traditional macro-payment methods, like credit and charge cards and digital currency, are suitable for large-value, low-volume transactions. However, large-volume, low-value commodities, such as discrete units of information from a website, better suit a micro-payment model. In micro-payment, ...
متن کاملHomomorphic Payment Addresses and the Pay-to-Contract Protocol
We propose an electronic payment protocol for typical customer-merchant relations which does not require a trusted (signed) payment descriptor to be sent from the merchant to the customer. Instead, the destination “account” number for the payment is solely created on the customer side. This eliminates the need for any encrypted or authenticated communication in the protocol and is secure even i...
